Brief history
Rural Finance was formed in 2004 and is now run by 2 directors ; Andrew Glover & Mike Latham.
Today, we are one of the largest Agricultural & Commercial Finance Brokering Network throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. However, whilst we are known as Rural Finance we have grown as a network and now offer finance solutions to every industry with a range of brokers who specialise in commercial, retail, construction finance, real-estate & professional loans.

Joined Rural Finance – July 2004. I was one of the 11 Directors which started this journey at Silverstone, British GP

Why you like working for Rural Finance – Having worked closely with Rural Finance for a number of years, I had always considered the people to be among the very best in the industry. As I spent more time with the team and got to know the wider network, I quickly recognised that Rural Finance is much more than a business. There is a genuine family feel throughout the organisation, built on trust, support and a shared desire to help one another succeed.
From the very beginning, everyone made me feel part of that family, which made joining the business an easy decision. Being given the opportunity to build on the fantastic work carried out by the team over many years, while helping drive the next stage of growth, is something I find hugely motivating.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of such a special business, surrounded by great people who are passionate about what they do and committed to supporting each other and our customers every day.

Why you like working for Rural Finance – I enjoy working at Rural as it is a friendly office, close to home. It is also good that when we suggest changes to be made for the better, we work together to make this happen.
Favourite film / TV Show – Loved the new Top Gun and the old one of course. I don’t really watch a lot of TV maybe a crime drama

Sports Team – I support LFC as far as football is concerned. But I do run Wrexham Netball Club with a friend, we have about 100 girls/ladies registered so that keeps me busy

Why you like working for Rural Finance – you are given the freedom to work using your own initiative. I feel valued as a member of a very friendly bunch of people at Head Office and we all get along, despite the varied age differences!
